Medium pressure steam boiler with three flue passes
Medium pressure saturated steam generator, packaged steel structure with pressurised combustion and high energy efficiency. Ready for operation in combination with a jet burner on liquid or gas fuel. Boiler with three flue passes, combustion chamber with cooled end plate sized to ensure low heating loads.
Range consisting of 6 models with useful heat outputs from 694 kW to 2,770 kW.

Technical Data
Standard design pressure 12 bars, 15 bars (higher pressure upon request).
• Amply sized evaporating chamber with large heat exchange area for the production of high quality saturated steam.
• Burner fixed to the burner anchor plate.
• Tube bundle can be cleaned through front and rear inspection doors.
• Possibility to access the furnace by removing the rear cover plate.
• Heat loss to the surrounding environment is limited by a suitable layer of high-density mineral wool insulation on the boiler body.
• The parts subject to pressure are all welded by qualified and approved personnel, according to EN standards.
• These modern-concept and high-efficiency generators have been designed and developed in compliance with European directive 2014/68/UE (PED) and the most recent national and European standards on pressurised recipients.
• The water circuit can be inspected through ovalshaped manholes hand head holes.

• Economiser: a water-flue gas heat exchanger that increases efficiency by around 4%. Its configuration and position are defined based on customer requirements.
• Ladder and walkway for safe access to the walkable platform on top of the boiler.
• Modulating supply system for optimum water level management in combination with an economiser.
• Air preheater: a flue gas/air heat exchanger to be installed in the flue gas circuit between the boiler and the chimney. This increases thermal efficiency by around 4%. This solution requires an industrial burner with separate fan to be installed upstream of the preheater.
• Burner: brand and type chosen based on customer specifications.
• Second standby supply pump with valves.
• System for automatically draining sludge and dissolved salts that deposit on the bottom.
• Salinity (TDS) control system that measures dissolved salts in the water.
• Cooling tank for sampling boiler water.
• BMS 24H for up to 24 hours’ continuous unsupervised operation.
• BMS 72H for up to 72 hours’ continuous unsupervised operation.
• Second FAIL SAFE minimum level probe.
• FAIL SAFE maximum level probe.
• PLC control system fitted with high performance Touch Panel colour operator interface. The interface can be used to manage operation of the Boiler-Burner-Central Heating System.
